The town of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, is nestled within the picturesque realm of fishermen, only 20 km. north of Puerto Vallarta, and proudly sits on the coast of one of the largest and one of the 27 most beautiful bays of the world. Year round, dozens of fishermen depart from this little cove and set out to catch a wide array of marine species and during the winter, a large number of sailboats also come to find refuge in its natural tranquil waters. Its rustic restaurants as well as its lovely beaches of pearly sand make of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, a wonderful area of the Bay. Frascati Ristorante opened its doors to the public on the 22nd of November of 2006.

Its owners, Philippe Defayes, of Swiss decent but with a well developed Mexican essence, hotel administrator and successful restaurateur in the heart of Mexico; as for Guillermo and Elsa Hern�ndez, both hotel administrators themselves and whom had a strong affection and desire to grow roots in La Cruz for many years, decided to unite and create �Frascati La Cruz� in this lovely town of fishermen. Their dream? Offering to all residents and visitors of this area an authentic Italian cuisine featuring traditional and innovative dishes in a casual and friendly ambiance topped with a tropical touch as well as an excellent quality of service and attention to details not only in the elaboration and presentation of the dishes but also in the attention given to their clients.

Frascati interior design and decor was created by Ms. Berenice Uribe de Alba owner of Plaza Bella, unique stores that represent the best manufacturer of Mexican arts, crafts, furniture and decorative items from all over Mexico.
